On the morning of May 22nd, 2014, the North Theater on the Dongcheng campus there was an acting studio hosted by Prof. Margaret Schulerfrom the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art, Germany. Professor Schuler emphasized that an actor should not only focus on playing his character but also to be themselves. In other words, the actor must always reflect on himself. Professor Schuler invited the students to come on stage to perform a set of body movements for training the left and right brains. Finally, she introduced some effective training methods, including sound, response, transmission, etc., which received positive responses from the students.
On the morning of May 22nd, Prof. Markku Uimonen held the workshop themed as "Vision Design in Performing Arts: The Influence of Video in Theatre".
