On the morning of May 23^rd, 2014, at the Black Box Theater on the Dongcheng campus, Sjef Tilly from the Maastricht School of Performing Arts in Southern University in the Netherlands brought the speech themed as "The  Innovation and Achievements of Stage Performing Arts in Design". He introduced the content and methods of European stage designing art to the students. The whole lecture focused on pictures and videos. The students experienced the works of a group of designers in the field of stage and costume design in Europe, including costume designers Ryan Beckers, Sabine Schneider, and stage designer, Les Vikhvin et al. The students showed great interest in these design works from Europe.
