Nihon University College of Art, referred to as “Nihon Art”. Based on the concept of “8 Arts,1 College”, we cultivate human resources by taking full advantage of the characteristics of each of the eight majors in the Faculty of Arts. For example, we conduct interdisciplinary co-productions and offer a comprehensive arts curriculum that can be taken by all eight majors. Unlike focusing on a single discipline, this type of in-depth integration allows for the injection of new colors into each major, broadening the depth and breadth of their expression, which is what makes “Nihon Art” different from other art schools.

The curriculum of the Department of Theatre emphasizes a balance between “theory and practice”, “fundamentals and application”, and “specialization and integration”. At the same time, it provides educational support for students' individual development and professionalism. The Department of Theatre aims to cultivate complex talents who have a high appreciation and creativity for theater and stage art in the contemporary era.
