On May 20, 2006, this year’s ATEC General Assembly was held at the East Hall of the Experimental Centre of the Central Academy of Drama, China (CAD).

The Assembly was hosted by Vice Director-General Choi Jeung-Il. After the speech by Director-General Xu Xiang. Prof. Shang Ergang proposed that Mr. Toda Munehiro be the chairman of this year’s meeting, which was approved by Director-General Xu Xiang.

In the Assembly, such proposals were passed by the official members as 2005 Work Report, 2005 Financial Accounting Report, 2005 Financial Audit Report, amendments to the supplementary articles of ATEC Bylaws, alternation of directors, and the appointment of Choo Thiam Siew as an ATEC Executive Director.

Moreover, it was also decided during the Assembly that the 2nd ATEC International Forum would be held from May 18 to 21, 2007 at CAD. All participating member schools received the notice of the application for next year’s ATEC members.
