On the morning of May 18, 2009, the 4^th ATEC Directors’ Meeting was held at the Central Academy of Drama, China (CAD).

During the meeting, the attendees deliberated and passed the 4^th Work Report and Financial Accounting Report, the 5^th Work Plan and Financial Budget, the changes in personnel, the application by 3 schools to become ATEC’s new members, among other propositions. The new applicants were Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts (Uzbekistan), Chungwoon University (Korea), and Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema (Vietnam). By a unanimous vote, the three applicants became official members, which increased the number of ATEC member schools from 9 to 12.
