In May 2025, the 20th ATEC Executive Directors' Meeting, Directors' Meeting, and Plenary Meeting were held via email. During the three meetings, proposals were deliberated including personnel appointments, event reports for the 20th term, audit reports, activity plans for the 21st term, and financial budget reports. It was also decided that the 8th Asian Theatre Schools Festival would be hosted by the China Central Academy of Drama in 2026.
