Director’s Notes
The road is busy with heavy traffic moving back and forth,
Where are they heading?
The sidewalk is crowded with numerous people rushing by,
Why is everyone in a hurry?
Like this, on the road, we spend our lives......
Then suddenly we look up into the bright blue sky,
And find a road above us too, it's the vapour trail left by the sweeping airplane,
Despite its disappearance soon,
That road remains where there was no road.
Be it sky or land,
No road is impossible to courage.
Actually there was no road in the world, people come and go,
And then the roads have appeared
Road is everywhere and nowhere,
Indeed, no road is impossible to courage!
That was how Hye Ch'o accomplished his journey of life1300 years ago.
It was a harsh journey to the dream deep in his heart, where Hye Ch'o challenged death and passed from one realm of life into another.
As "Hye Cho 2007" virtually restored the path Hye Ch'o had took, I started thinking about my journey of life.
Am I being myself? Am I on the road leading to “something"?
"Something” that I never ever give up because of fear......
