The Director
Do Thi Yen was born in 1990. She graduated from Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema in Cai Luong (a Vietnamese traditional singing), Department of Traditional Theatre. At the moment, she studies theatrical directing at the Department of Drama.
Synopsis

A long time ago, there was fox cultivating for thousands of years with the desire to live as a person and like a fairy . When the fox was successful, it turned into a beautiful and talented girl named Ho fairy. She left the mountains carrying a curse that the first man she meets will become her lover and she will have to help him the world. The fox spirit met a king, became a great general and his wife as well. During the battle to occupy the lands for her king, she met Hung Vy, an extremely handsome and talented youth. He had just finished his studies and left the mountain to join the army protecting his community. He used a guitar as a weapon and the songs to fascinate people. The fox spirit had already married another man under the curse but still loved his good looks and musical talent , so she wanted to monopolize him . Hung Vy disapproved , which turned into a two-sided battle. No matter how many wars they fought the fox spirit always won because of the pearl, which contained a kind of marvelous magic. Hung Vy pretended to be defeated and agreed to marry the fox spirit. She was fooled by her own desires and told him all the secrets about the magic and the usage of the pearl, which she had cultivated for thousands of years. Hung Vy agreed to the relationship with her and played a song about the passion of love for her. Sunk in the joyfulness of love and the enchanting song, she fell in the trap of Hung Vy and lent him the pearl to cure his wound. Hung Vy took the pearl, swallowed it into his belly and escaped on horseback. The fox spirit chased after the pearl but the sound of the magic guitar made her limp with weariness.Taking advantage of the occasion, Hung Vy ran away. The fox spirit painfully returned to the jungle, turned back to a normal fox because she lost the pearl.
Despair of a thousand years' efforts suddenly vanished into air when she turned back into an animal . Hung Vy's saying goes :
"Even with intelligence you are still an animal,
Turn back to the jungle where you truly belong.”
