Tangyin cries, because he’s really in love......

Qiuxiang cries, because she is really enamoured...

We laugh, as their hearts never separated...

Synopsis

Tangyin is an elegant and uninhibited scholar; spending all day painting and drinking wine. Over the years, he has been looking for Ju-er, who was engaged with him when they were young.

One day, Tangyin dressed as a beggar, goes to the temple of the Tiger Piedmont, where he meets Hua Taishi’s goddaughter Qiuxiang. Qiuxiang’s beauty and kindness attracts Tangyin; he falls in love with her at first sight. He follows Qiuxiang all the way to the Taishi House, disguised himself as a servant named Kangxuan. His cousin Yulan is the house keeper. She helps Kangxuan in his pursuit of Qiuxiang.

In fact, Qiuxiang is Tangyin’s long-lost fiancee, Ju-er. For so many years, she has also been looking for Tangyin. Qiuxiang is impressed by Kangxuan but would not give him a promise. Tangyin does not recognise Qiuxiang. He couldn’t make a choice between Qiuxiang and his fiancée.

Hua Taishi’s two sons, Huawen and Huawu are attracted by Qiuxiang too. They are vying for her love at the same time. Their mother – the Old Lady wants Qiuxiang betrothed to her eldest son......

Crises and misunderstandings continue, leaving Tangyin in despair, and he decides to leave. Will this be their destiny?
